During springtime at Windy Ridge, you will find hundreds of huge eastern gobblers looking for hens. It is the perfect place to turkey hunt as our food plots are now used as strutting areas.
There are thousands of acres of hardwood forest in which we chase these gobblers. Our turkey hunts are fully guided, one bird, three-day hunts.
Meals, lodging, and local transportation are provided.
For an Iowa license, hunters must apply with the IA DNR between December 15 - January 26 (dates will vary from year to year). View licensing details below.
Iowa awards turkey licenses using a lottery system, but many times there are some tags leftover to re-apply for. The application period for turkeys begins on December 15 and runs through January 26. (These dates may vary from year to year.) Please check the Iowa DNR’s website for exact dates.
